Arcine Studio unveils a groundbreaking automotive service complex that seamlessly integrates a fully automated car wash facility with an expansive electric vehicle charging hub, unified under a bold nocturnal design language that reimagines the roadside typology as a destination in its own right. The design encompasses illuminated charging arrays, a louvred service pavilion, curated landscape zones, and a choreographed vehicular circulation system, all rendered in a vivid neon palette against the surrounding mature tree line. PROJECT CONCEPT
Arcine Studio presents an ambitious reimagining of the conventional automotive service facility, orchestrating a comprehensive site plan in which a fully automated car wash bay, dual rows of rapid EV charging stations, and a dedicated service pavilion are arranged across a meticulously graded compound nestled within a densely planted perimeter of mature trees, establishing a self-contained precinct that operates as a vibrant nocturnal landmark within the suburban fabric.
The charging zone anchors the northern portion of the site, where a linear sequence of illuminated stations cast a gradient of blue and violet light across the parking bays, their arched canopy structures creating a rhythmic datum that guides vehicles through a clearly legible circulation loop, while integrated directional ground markings and chevron-lit arrival lanes ensure that the experience of navigating the facility is as precisely choreographed as the architecture that frames it.
At the heart of the complex, our design positions a louvred service pavilion whose warm-toned vertical screen glows against the cooler palette of the surrounding infrastructure, housing the automated wash bays and ancillary service functions within a compact volume that reads as both operationally efficient and architecturally distinctive, ensuring that utilitarian programme is elevated through deliberate material and lighting composition.
In addition to the captivating automotive programme, this visionary facility envelops its visitors in a considered landscape of shaded seating terraces, elevated timber-framed dining pavilions, flowering planting beds punctuated by ambient ground lighting, and a curated pedestrian zone that encourages dwell time, transforming the interval of a vehicle charge or wash cycle into an experience of leisure and respite.
