Compute Campus
Arcine Studio presents the master planning and 3D visualization of Boreal Compute Campus, a large-scale technology and digital infrastructure hub in Sweden. The development combines data halls, operational buildings, electrical infrastructure, service yards, administrative facilities, and landscaped buffers within a coordinated campus plan. Set against a forested Nordic landscape, the project balances technical efficiency with a clear spatial structure and a restrained environmental presence.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Arcine Studio organized Compute Campus around a series of secure operational zones connected by a direct internal road network. Large data and technology buildings form the core of the campus, while smaller support facilities are positioned around them to simplify servicing, maintenance, and future expansion.
Dedicated electrical substations and utility compounds are placed along the site edges, providing clear access for technical operations without interrupting the central campus. Their arrangement supports reliable infrastructure distribution while maintaining separation between high-security systems, staff areas, and logistics movement.
The buildings are grouped in repeatable clusters, allowing the masterplan to grow in phases as capacity requirements change. Service yards, loading areas, modular equipment, and cooling infrastructure are integrated closely with each building, reducing travel distances and improving operational clarity.
A separate administrative and staff building occupies a quieter landscaped zone, creating a more human-scaled point of arrival within the industrial setting. Tree belts, planted verges, water features, and preserved green areas soften the development and strengthen its relationship with the surrounding Swedish landscape. Clear zoning also helps visitors, staff, and service vehicles understand the site without unnecessary overlap or confusion
Through data centre master planning, technology campus design, infrastructure coordination, and architectural visualization, Arcine Studio shapes Compute Campus as a resilient framework for digital operations. The result brings together security, scalability, energy infrastructure, efficient circulation, and landscape integration within a campus designed for dependable long-term performance.
