The Dillard Village
A modular student housing visualization in New Orleans by Arcine Studio, designed to showcase campus living for Dillard University students through architectural renders, masterplan views, shared green spaces, pedestrian circulation, and community-focused student housing design.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Created for Dillard University students in New Orleans, The Dillard Village visualizes a modular student housing community shaped around connection, clarity, and everyday campus life. Arcine Studio developed the project’s 3D visualization, architectural renders, aerial masterplan views, and animation to communicate a student housing concept that feels organized, accessible, and socially active without losing its sense of openness.
The project is arranged as a campus village, with housing blocks, shared lawns, pedestrian paths, shaded outdoor seating, and community spaces working together as one connected environment. Rather than presenting student housing as a collection of isolated buildings, the visualization focuses on how students would move, gather, study, rest, and live across the site. Green courtyards, open lawns, modular units, and walkable connections create a layout that supports both privacy and community.
The aerial renders highlight the larger planning logic of the development. Housing clusters are placed around landscaped open spaces, while the surrounding circulation, parking, event areas, and service zones are organized for ease of access. A canal-side edge, tree-lined roads, solar roof elements, and generous outdoor zones help position the project as a forward-looking student housing environment rooted in sustainability, comfort, and campus identity.
Architecturally, the visuals use clean modular forms, soft white volumes, shaded glazing, and simple contemporary lines to create a calm and cohesive campus language. The goal was to make the development feel modern but not cold, efficient but not rigid, and student-focused without becoming generic.
Through masterplan visualization, architectural renders, and animation, Arcine Studio translated The Dillard Village into a clear visual story: a student housing community designed around campus connection, shared green space, and the daily rhythms of university life.
