Caravan Retreat
Caravan Retreat is a desert glamping visualization developed for a hospitality destination in Saudi Arabia, bringing together compact caravan stays, shaded social spaces, family recreation, outdoor dining, and mountain-facing leisure within one cohesive camp experience.
Set against a rugged desert landscape, the retreat is organized as a loose ring of white caravan units arranged around a central hospitality pavilion. Arcine Studio developed the architectural visualization and exterior renders to show how the individual stays, shared amenities, and open landscape could work together as a complete glamping resort rather than a collection of isolated units.
Each caravan is paired with a timber-framed terrace or privacy screen, adding warmth and creating a more comfortable threshold between the interior and the surrounding terrain. Their dispersed placement preserves views, allows breathing room between guests, and gives the site a relaxed village-like character. Curving paths connect the accommodation with the main pavilion, activity areas, and gathering spaces while keeping the overall layout informal and landscape-led.
At the centre, a sculptural tented pavilion acts as the social heart of the retreat. Its timber-clad form, deep overhangs, soft curtains, and raised deck create a shaded setting for dining, lounging, and evening gatherings. Nearby fire pits, outdoor seating, a food truck, play zones, trampolines, and a projection screen expand the experience for families and groups.
An elevated observation tower and telescope introduce a stronger connection to the surrounding mountains and night sky, turning the retreat into a destination for stargazing as well as accommodation. The visualization set moves between aerial masterplan views and closer atmospheric scenes, communicating site organization, material character, guest movement, and the transition from daytime activity to evening calm.
Visualized by Arcine Studio, Wadi Caravan Retreat demonstrates how glamping resort design, caravan park planning, desert hospitality visualization, and landscape-led 3D rendering can shape a memorable stay. The result is a warm, social, and adaptable retreat grounded in Saudi Arabia’s open terrain, mountain light, and outdoor culture.
