Mountain View Retreat
A mountain retreat visualization in Alberta, designed to showcase timber architecture, glass-framed forest views, warm wellness interiors, and cinematic architectural renders rooted in landscape, stillness, and elevated living.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Set against a forested mountain landscape, Mountain View Retreat is a retreat shaped by timber, glass, slope, and view. Arcine Studio developed the project’s 3D visualization, exterior renders, interior wellness views, and animation to communicate a quiet architectural concept where the building sits lightly within the landscape while opening generously toward the surrounding trees and peaks.
The exterior imagery focuses on a long timber volume placed along a natural ridge. Vertical wood cladding, dark roof lines, full-height glazing glass, and a raised structural base give the retreat a refined yet grounded presence. Rather than overpowering the site, the architecture follows the character of the terrain, allowing the forest, mountain horizon, and natural slope to remain central to the visual story.
The renderings were composed to highlight the relationship between built form and landscape. Wide glass panels reflect the surrounding pines, while framed views pull the mountain scenery into the architecture. From each angle, the retreat feels calm, deliberate, and quietly inserted into its setting, creating the impression of a place designed for pause, privacy, and long views.
Inside, the wellness spaces continue the same material language. Warm wood surfaces, soft daylight, lounge areas, indoor water features, and large windows create an atmosphere of rest and retreat. The interior visualization was designed to feel serene without becoming overly decorative, focusing instead on light, material warmth, and the slow rhythm of the landscape outside.
Through architectural visualization and animation, Arcine Studio translated Mountain View Retreat into a clear visual narrative: a mountain retreat where timber architecture, wellness living, and forest-framed views come together in one quiet, elevated experience.
