PROJECT CONCEPT
Arcine Studio introduces a dynamic master planning concept for a vibrant market area, carefully balancing functionality and versatility within a compact 9,500-square-foot space. At its core lies a flexible central area, which seamlessly transforms to serve diverse seasonal purposes. In its primary role, this central space hosts a bustling array of fruit and vegetable stalls, offering a vibrant cornucopia of fresh produce.
However, the magic of adaptability unfolds as seasons shift. The removable stalls gracefully make way for an engaging stage, temporary seating, and screening area. This transformation enhances the space’s multi-functionality, facilitating performances, film screenings, and communal gatherings. Flanking this central arena are permanent food court stalls, enriching the visitor experience with a diverse culinary selection.
Arcine Studio’s innovative concept optimizes spatial utilization while fostering a sense of community and cultural exchange. Its adaptability ensures year-round relevance, transforming the market into a lively, ever-evolving urban nucleus. Our emphasis on the seamless blend of form and function creates spaces that evolve harmoniously with the community’s needs, epitomizing the essence of progressive urban planning.
