Our design emphasizes inclusivity and sustainability, featuring versatile living and communal spaces, farming with greenhouses, and a restaurant promoting sensory experiences and community cohesion. The addition of an export facility ensures the project’s long-term sustainability, aligning seamlessly with the client’s vision of a transformative, accessible, and eco-conscious landscape where the sense of smell takes center stage.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Arcine Studio embarks on an innovative 16-acre landscaping project, uniquely designed to cater to the visually impaired by engaging the sense of smell. Organic pathways meander throughout the area, offering tactile guidance through a sensory journey. The pathways are enveloped by a fragrant tapestry of mainly lavender, creating an aromatic navigation system.
Within this immersive environment, we introduce versatile living spaces, temporary and sustainable, to accommodate various activities. A farming area with greenhouses and a restaurant not only promote sustainable practices but also provide opportunities for sensory experiences and communal gatherings. The communal space features a dining area, firepit/bonfire spaces, and storage facilities.
Furthermore, an export facility for produce ensures the project’s sustainability and empowers the community. Arcine Studio’s vision transcends mere landscaping; it’s a master planning endeavor that fosters inclusivity, sustainability, and a harmonious coexistence with nature. This transformative project seeks to create an enchanting and accessible space where the sense of smell guides, inspires, and connects people with the environment.
